Founded in 2003, Talcott Notch Literary is a rapidly-growing mid-size literary and screen rights agency representing the freshest new voices in both fiction and nonfiction.
Our founder, Gina Panettieri has expertise in every aspect of writing and publishing and has helped thousands of writers achieve their goals. She has successfully placed hundreds of books with such well-known publishers as Berkley, St. Martin's Press, Adams Media, Palgrave-Macmillan, McGraw-Hill, John Wiley & Sons and many others.
In more than twenty years in the publishing industry, Gina has appeared as a speaker at scores of national and regional conferences, leading workshops on a range of subjects ranging from characterization, dialogue and query letters, to the changing publishing market, publicity and new trends in fiction.
Senior Associate Agent and Content Strategist Paula Munier brings a wealth of publishing industry knowledge to the agency. With a stellar background holding executive positions in both publishing houses and writers' organizations (simultaneously), she's intimately-versed in the dynamics and inner workings of publishing houses, as well as the expectations of and demands placed upon writers.
Associate Agent Rachael Dugas completed a six-month internship with Sourcebooks before joining Talcott Notch, and is now seeking fiction, particularly YA and middle-grade fiction, along with women's fiction, romance, paranormal and mysteries. She'll also consider nonfiction, with a strong interest in the arts, and cooking. Her first sales hit the shelves this Spring, including Bethany Crandall's SUMMER ON THE SHORT BUS, published by Running Press Kids, and Elle Daniel's HE'S NO PRINCE CHARMING, published by Hachette, debuting this Fall.
Associate Agent Jessica Negron comes to us with a diverse background in publishing and design. Though she's open to all adult fiction, she's most keenly interested in fantasy and science fiction, as well as thrillers, intelligent erotica and YA fiction. Her first sales will be winging their way to readers this Summer, including SHRIKE by Emmie Mears, and a nonfiction title by the same author, THE GEEK GIRL'S GUIDE, both published by Harlequin.
New Junior Agent Saba Sulaiman has just joined the agency and is building her list. Also a veteran of a Sourcebooks internship, with degrees from Wellesley and the University of Chicago, she's seeking strong voices and unconventional narratives for adults as well as YA and MG. Please consult her agent page for her preferences, and join us in welcoming her to Team Talcott Notch!
